Ministerial Program Information

Lotus in Hands

We are honored to serve God together with you.
Our relationship with one another is a reflection of our relationship with God, therefore we feel that our relationship with one another is of the highest value.

Please read through the following information thoroughly and prayerfully.

This Ministerial Program is for those who are enrolled in the Mystical Mind Training Program and who feel Called to also become a minister with Living Church Ministries, Inc. The program involves study, practical application, and a deep commitment to the truth. It is a curriculum in purification and inner discipline, and it is for those who have a sincere desire to awaken to the Love of God, using Christ's teachings. The core of the curriculum is the practical application of the ideas for one's own mind training. It involves transfer of training, which means generalizing the ideas without making exceptions.

Further, this program is for those who are ready for a high degree of Self responsibility. To be ready for this program requires a willingness to see that Awakening comes solely through giving all to all; through allowing the ego (the getting mechanism) to be undone. Those who enter this program must be willing to use every opportunity when it seems that something is missing to go within and pray for the answer; for what can be given.

Our task as human beings is to give as God gives.” - David Hoffmeister

Content

The Ministerial Program covers the same curriculum as the Mystical Mind Training Program, but it has added structure and commitments that are part of it.

The materials and resources used throughout the program are an extension of the living experience to which all of Christ's teachings point. The Holy Spirit uses the form to point to the content until there is a complete experience of the content (the living experience of God) in which form is recognized as meaningless; that it was merely a tool to bring us to the content.

Assignments

Assignments are woven throughout the program for the purpose of inner inquiry and to develop a clear understanding of the teachings. This involves taking the ideas inward to question limiting beliefs, and applying the ideas to one's own thoughts and life situations. Some assignments involve only prayer and contemplation; others involve discussion with your mind training partner. Most assignments involve using an online function to compose a written response, which may be reviewed by the Ministerial Program Director.

Mind Training Partner

Ministerial Program students are required to pair up with a Mind Training Partner who is approved by the Ministerial Program Director. This relationship is solely for helping you to integrate the lessons you are learning in the Mystical Mind Training program curriculum. You will be required to have weekly calls with your Mind Training Partner. These calls are used to discuss assignments and materials from the program, to ask questions of each other about the material you are learning, and/or to look at thoughts for the purpose of healing and release.

Mentors

Mentors are support people who are available for you to connect with occasionally as you go through the program. They are volunteer ministers with Living Miracles who are qualified to help you deepen in your Awakening as you learn to transfer these teachings to all aspects of your life. Once you are formally enrolled in the Ministerial Program, you will have access to a "mentor request" form, which will allow you to request a mentoring call approximately once a month.

Ministerial Program Director

Your progress in our Ministerial Program will be overseen by the Ministerial Program Director, whom you'll meet when you apply. Throughout your program, the Director will be in contact with your mentor(s) and will receive your monthly self-evaluation submissions. They will not be available for one-on-one counseling. Periodically they may ask you for a call to review your progress in the program and/or offer opportunities to deepen in your spiritual practice.

Requirements to Complete the Ministerial Program

The Ministerial Program involves commitments and a willingness to use self-inquiry as a means for releasing blocks from the mind. The purpose of the program requirements/commitments is to form a structure of support, and a clear direction for you as a ministerial trainee. The structure provides a reference point from which to discern the Spirit's Voice from the ego's voice. The requirements are as follows:

  • Commit to a weekly call with a Mind Training Partner (another MMT student approved by the Ministerial Program Director) to discuss assignments and materials from the program, ask questions about the program, and/or look at thoughts for the purpose of healing and mind training

  • Submit a monthly update/self-evaluation form

  • Submit all assignments in the order they are given in the program

  • Commit to completing one course/module per month. This involves about 10–15 hours of study and participation per week
